These soft and fluffy Garlic Bread Rolls are packed with buttery garlic flavor and topped with fresh herbs. Perfect as a side for pasta, soups, or just on their own! They’re easy to make and bake up golden and delicious every time.

- For the Dough:
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) instant yeast
- 1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- For the Garlic Butter Topping:
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Prepare the Dough:
- In a large bowl, whisk together warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour. Mix until combined.
- Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- 2. Shape & Second Rise:
- Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a ball and place in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cover and let rise again for 30 minutes.
- 3. Bake the Rolls:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden brown.
- 4. Make the Garlic Butter Topping:
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and salt.
- Brush over the warm rolls and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if using.
- 5. Serve & Enjoy!
- Serve warm as a side dish with pasta, soups, or grilled meats.
Notes
- For extra garlic flavor, add ½ tsp garlic powder to the dough.
- Want a cheesy twist? Stuff each roll with a cube of mozzarella before baking.
