Description

These classic no-bake cookies are rich, chocolatey, and full of peanut butter flavor. They come together in minutes with simple ingredients—no oven needed!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups quick oats
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa powder. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
  • Let it boil for 1 minute without stirring, then remove from heat.
  • Stir in peanut butter, vanilla extract, salt, and oats. Mix until everything is well coated.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Let the cookies sit at room temperature for 30-45 minutes until firm.
  • Enjoy! Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.

Notes

  • For a firmer cookie: Use old-fashioned oats instead of quick oats.
  • For extra flavor: Add ½ cup of shredded coconut or chopped nuts.
  • Dairy-free option: Use almond milk and dairy-free butter.
