Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper or foil, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
- Heat over low to medium heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate chips are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt (if using).
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
- Refrigerate for 2-3 hours, or until the fudge is firm and set.
- Once set, lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment paper or foil and cut into small squares.
