Description

This rich and creamy hot chocolate is the perfect winter warmer, made easily in your crockpot! It’s a crowd-pleaser for holiday gatherings or cozy nights at home. Just toss the ingredients in, let it simmer, and enjoy the most indulgent hot cocoa with minimal effort

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream or marshmallows (for topping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the heavy cream, whole milk, sweetened condensed milk, and chocolate chips to the crockpot.
  2. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure the chocolate chips melt evenly.
  4. Once the hot chocolate is smooth and creamy, stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Serve warm with whipped cream or marshmallows on top, if desired.

Notes

  • You can substitute semi-sweet chocolate chips with dark or milk chocolate chips, depending on your taste preference.
  • For a peppermint twist, add ½ teaspoon of peppermint extract.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave
