Description

This Buffalo Chicken Dip is the ultimate party appetizer! It’s creamy, cheesy, and packed with spicy buffalo flavor. Made with just a few ingredients and ready in minutes, it’s perfect for game days, potlucks, or any gathering. Serve it with chips, crackers, or veggies for the ultimate snack!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie works great!)
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (like Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

Oven Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  3. Stir in the shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Transfer to a baking dish and top with blue cheese crumbles (if using).
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers!

Slow Cooker Method:

  1. Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and stir to combine.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
  3. Serve warm straight from the slow cooker!

Notes

  • Make it Lighter: Use reduced-fat cream cheese, light ranch dressing, and low-fat cheese.
  • Extra Spicy? Add more buffalo sauce or a dash of cayenne pepper.
  • More Cheesy? Stir in extra shredded cheese or sprinkle more on top before baking.
  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven.
