Description

This Banana Split Fluff is a no-bake, creamy dessert loaded with bananas, pineapple, cherries, and mini marshmallows. It’s perfect for potlucks, picnics, or whenever you need a quick, sweet treat. Ready in minutes and full of nostalgic banana split flavors!

Ingredients

Units Scale

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced bananas (about 2 bananas)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 3/4 cup maraschino cherries, halved and patted dry
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the instant pudding mix and milk, and mix until thick and creamy.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
  4. Gently stir in the drained pineapple, sliced bananas, marshmallows, chopped nuts, cherries, and mini chocolate chips.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  6. Serve chilled and garnish with extra cherries, nuts, or chocolate chips if desired!

Notes

  • Prevent Browning: Toss banana slices in a little lemon juice to keep them from turning brown.
  • Make it Lighter: Use sugar-free pudding, low-fat cream cheese, and light whipped topping.
  • Nut-Free Version: Simply leave out the nuts or replace them with granola for some crunch.
  • Storage: Best enjoyed within 24 hours, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
