Description

These adorable Easter egg-shaped treats are made with crushed Oreo cookies and cream cheese, then coated in colorful chocolate for a festive look. They’re no-bake, super easy to make, and fun for kids and adults alike!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies
  • 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz white chocolate or candy melts (pastel colors preferred)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for smooth melting)
  • Sprinkles, food coloring, or decorating gels (optional)

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreos – In a food processor, blend the Oreo cookies (including the filling) until fine crumbs form.
  • Mix with Cream Cheese – Add softened cream cheese and mix until fully combined, forming a dough-like consistency.
  • Shape into Eggs – Scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into an egg shape. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Chill – Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or freeze for 15 minutes until firm.
  • Melt the Chocolate – In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate or candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring in between. Add a little coconut oil if needed for a smoother texture.
  • Dip the Cookie Balls – Using a fork or skewer, dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off. Place back on the parchment paper.
  • Decorate – While the coating is still wet, add sprinkles or drizzle with different colors of melted chocolate. Let them set completely.
  • Enjoy! Once hardened, serve immediately or store in the fridge until ready to eat.

Notes

  • Use pastel-colored candy melts for a bright, Easter-themed look.
  • You can mix different food colorings into white chocolate for more variety.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
