- 2 glazed donuts, sliced in half horizontally
- 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 slices crispy bacon
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Prep the donuts – Slice each glazed donut in half to create a “bun” for the sandwich.
- Assemble the sandwich – Layer one slice of cheddar, two strips of crispy bacon, and another slice of cheddar between the donut halves.
- Butter the donuts – Spread a thin layer of butter on the outside of each donut half.
- Grill it up – Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the sandwiches butter-side down and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Drizzle with maple syrup – Remove from heat and drizzle with warm maple syrup for extra sweetness.
- Serve & enjoy – Slice in half and serve immediately
