Description

This Donut Grilled Cheese with Bacon & Maple is the ultimate combination of sweet, salty, and cheesy goodness! A warm, buttery glazed donut is grilled to perfection with melted cheddar cheese and crispy bacon inside, then drizzled with rich maple syrup for the perfect balance of flavors. It’s a fun twist on a classic grilled cheese that’s perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a decadent snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 glazed donuts, sliced in half horizontally
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices crispy bacon
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  • Prep the donuts – Slice each glazed donut in half to create a “bun” for the sandwich.
  • Assemble the sandwich – Layer one slice of cheddar, two strips of crispy bacon, and another slice of cheddar between the donut halves.
  • Butter the donuts – Spread a thin layer of butter on the outside of each donut half.
  • Grill it up – Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the sandwiches butter-side down and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Drizzle with maple syrup – Remove from heat and drizzle with warm maple syrup for extra sweetness.

  • Serve & enjoy – Slice in half and serve immediately
