- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
- 2 tbsp honey (optional)
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt or water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
For Frosting:
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp peanut butter

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small cake pan (6-inch round or cupcake tin).
- Mix dry ingredients – In a bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda.
- Mix wet ingredients – In another bowl, combine the egg, applesauce, peanut butter, honey, yogurt, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Combine & bake – Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir until fully combined. Pour batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool completely before frosting.
- Make the frosting – Mix Greek yogurt and peanut butter until smooth. Spread over the cooled cake.
- Decorate & serve – Top with dog treats, carrots, or banana slices. Serve in small portions!

- Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Substitutions: Swap applesauce for mashed banana if preferred.
