Description
This refreshing cucumber dip is creamy, cool, and packed with fresh flavors. Perfect as a dip for veggies, crackers, or pita chips, or as a spread for sandwiches and wraps!
Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber, finely grated and squeezed dry
- 1 cup (240g) Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
- 1/2 cup (113g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for extra richness)
Instructions

Prepare the Cucumber – Grate the cucumber using a box grater. Place in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess water.

Mix the Base – In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt and cream cheese until smooth.

Add Flavor – Stir in the grated cucumber, lemon juice, dill, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Chill & Serve – Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Drizzle with olive oil before serving if desired.

Notes
- For a thinner dip: Add a bit more Greek yogurt or a splash of milk.
- For extra tang: Add 1 teaspoon of white vinegar or more lemon juice.
