Description

This refreshing cucumber dip is creamy, cool, and packed with fresh flavors. Perfect as a dip for veggies, crackers, or pita chips, or as a spread for sandwiches and wraps!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 large cucumber, finely grated and squeezed dry
  • 1 cup (240g) Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
  • 1/2 cup (113g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for extra richness)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Cucumber – Grate the cucumber using a box grater. Place in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess water.

  • Mix the Base – In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt and cream cheese until smooth.

  • Add Flavor – Stir in the grated cucumber, lemon juice, dill, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  • Chill & Serve – Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend. Drizzle with olive oil before serving if desired.

  • Enjoy! Serve with pita chips, crackers, fresh veggies, or as a sandwich spread.

Notes

  • For a thinner dip: Add a bit more Greek yogurt or a splash of milk.
  • For extra tang: Add 1 teaspoon of white vinegar or more lemon juice.

  • Make it spicy: Stir in a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce.
