Description

These Crockpot Ranch Pork Chops and Potatoes are a simple, dump-and-go meal that’s packed with creamy ranch flavor. Tender pork chops slow-cooked with potatoes in a rich, buttery sauce make for the perfect comfort food dinner with minimal effort!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
  • 1 1/2 lbs (680g) baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream (or milk)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 cup (50g) shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crockpot: Spray the inside of your slow cooker with nonstick spray.
  • Layer the Potatoes: Place the halved baby potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot. Sprinkle with half of the ranch seasoning mix.
  • Add Pork Chops: Place the pork chops on top of the potatoes.
  • Mix the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and the remaining ranch seasoning.
  • Pour Over the Pork Chops: Evenly spread the sauce over the pork chops and potatoes.
  • Top with Butter: Dot the top with butter pieces.
  • Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender.
  • Add Cheese (Optional): If using cheddar cheese, sprinkle it on top during the last 15 minutes of cooking and cover until melted.

  • Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Thicker pork chops may need extra cooking time. If they are very thin, check for doneness around 5 hours on LOW.

For a lighter version, swap heavy cream for milk and use low-sodium broth.

Add carrots or green beans to make it a complete one-pot meal.
