Description

This Crockpot Garlic Parmesan Chicken is rich, creamy, and packed with garlicky, cheesy flavor. Tender chicken breasts are slow-cooked in a luscious garlic-Parmesan sauce that’s perfect over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes. It’s the ultimate comfort food—easy to make and always a hit!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 3-4 breasts)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • Optional: Fresh chopped parsley or extra Parmesan for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

  2. Place chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker.

  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together heavy cream, Parmesan, chicken broth, cream cheese, minced garlic, and butter until mostly smooth.

  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken.

  5. Cover and cook on Low for 5–6 hours or High for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.

  6. Shred or slice the chicken, then stir to coat in the sauce.

  7. Serve warm over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes, and garnish with fresh parsley or extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

  • You can use boneless chicken thighs for a juicier option.

  • To thicken the sauce more, stir in a cornstarch slurry (1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water) during the last 30 minutes of cooking.

  • Great with a side of roasted broccoli or garlic bread!
