Optional: Fresh chopped parsley or extra Parmesan for garnish
Instructions
-
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

In a medium bowl, whisk together heavy cream, Parmesan, chicken broth, cream cheese, minced garlic, and butter until mostly smooth.
-
Pour the sauce over the chicken.
-
Cover and cook on Low for 5–6 hours or High for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
-
Shred or slice the chicken, then stir to coat in the sauce.
-
Serve warm over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes, and garnish with fresh parsley or extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
-
You can use boneless chicken thighs for a juicier option.
-
To thicken the sauce more, stir in a cornstarch slurry (1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water) during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
-
Great with a side of roasted broccoli or garlic bread!
