- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Grease the inside of your crockpot (slow cooker) with butter or non-stick spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, instant pudding mix, water, oil, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared crockpot and spread it out evenly.
- Optional: Sprinkle the chocolate chips or chopped nuts over the top for extra texture and flavor.
- Cover and cook on low for 2.5-3 hours. The cake should be golden brown on top and a toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean.
- Turn off the crockpot and let the cake cool for a few minutes before serving.
