Description

These Crispy Garlic Parmesan Crusted Potatoes are golden-brown on the outside and soft on the inside. Coated with butter, garlic, and Parmesan, they’re a crowd-pleasing side dish that pairs well with any main course. Plus, they’re super easy to make with just a few simple ingredients!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs baby potatoes (halved) or small Yukon Gold potatoes (sliced)
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or cast-iron skillet with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Parmesan Crust:
    • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Coat the Potatoes:
    • Dip each potato cut-side down into the Parmesan mixture, pressing lightly to coat.
    • Arrange the potatoes cut-side down on the baking sheet.
  • Bake to Crispy Perfection:
    • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the potatoes are crispy and golden brown on the bottom.
    • Let them rest for 5 minutes before carefully flipping them with a spatula.
  • Garnish & Serve:
    • Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately. Enjoy your crispy, cheesy potatoes!

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end.
  • Use Pecorino Romano instead of Parmesan for a sharper flavor.
  • Add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Serve with garlic aioli, ranch, or sour cream for dipping.
