- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
For the Toppings:
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or American cheese)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1/4 cup diced pickles (optional)
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise (for drizzling)
- 1 tbsp mustard (optional, for extra burger flavor)
Instructions
- Cook the Bacon – In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy (5-6 minutes). Remove and set aside. Leave about 1 tbsp bacon grease in the pan.
- Brown the Beef – In the same skillet, add ground beef. Cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned (5-7 minutes). Drain excess grease if needed.
- Add Garlic Butter & Seasonings – Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in butter, garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Melt the Cheese – Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the beef. Cover the skillet with a lid and let the cheese melt for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish & Serve – Top with crispy bacon, diced pickles, cherry tomatoes, parsley, mayonnaise, and mustard. Serve immediately on its own, over lettuce for a low-carb option, or with toasted buns!
Notes
- Make It a Meal: Serve with toasted buns, over pasta, or with crispy fries.
