Description

A crunchy, golden-brown fish fillet served on a toasted bun with tangy tartar sauce and crisp lettuce. This sandwich is easy to make and packed with flavor!

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 4 sandwich buns, toasted
  • 1/2 cup tartar sauce
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices of tomato (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions

  • Prepare the coating: Set up three shallow bowls—one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Bread the fish: Dredge each fish fillet in the flour, dip it into the eggs, then coat it with the seasoned panko.
  • Fry the fish: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each fillet for about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy. Drain on a paper towel.
  • Assemble the sandwich: Spread tartar sauce on the toasted buns, then layer with lettuce, tomato slices, and crispy fish fillets.
