Description

This creamy grape salad is a refreshing and sweet side dish made with juicy grapes, a smooth cream cheese and sour cream dressing, and a crunchy walnut topping. It’s perfect for potlucks, picnics, holidays, or as a simple make-ahead dessert salad.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups red seedless grapes

  • 4 cups green seedless grapes

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the grapes thoroughly. Set aside.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.

  3. Add the sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and creamy.

  4. Gently fold in the grapes until they’re evenly coated in the creamy mixture.

  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

  6. Just before serving, sprinkle chopped walnuts and brown sugar over the top for extra crunch and sweetness.

Notes

  • You can swap walnuts for pecans if preferred.

  • For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.

  • Best served chilled.
