Description

This Creamy Garlic Pasta is rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. Made with garlic, parmesan, and cream, it’s a quick and easy dish that’s perfect for weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine or spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup pasta water (reserved)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
  • In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Stir in parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until smooth.
  • Add cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. Use reserved pasta water to loosen sauce if needed.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add grilled chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
  • Use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.
