  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for extra richness)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • 1. Prepare & Cook the Chicken
  • Season the chicken with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
  • Lightly coat with flour, shaking off excess.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (165°F/75°C internal temp). Remove and set aside.
  • 2. Make the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
  • In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
  • Stir in heavy cream, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  • Stir in butter for extra richness.
  • 3. Combine & Serve
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
  • Simmer for 2-3 more minutes, letting the flavors meld.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!
