- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter (for extra richness)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or basil, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Prepare the Chicken
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Lightly coat each piece in flour, shaking off excess.
- 2. Sear the Chicken
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (165°F/75°C internal temp).
- Remove from the pan and set aside.
- 3. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce
- In the same pan, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
- Stir in Italian seasoning, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese.
- Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes, until slightly thickened.
- Stir in butter for extra richness.
- 4. Finish & Serve
- Return the chicken to the pan, spooning sauce over the top.
- Simmer for 2 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or basil and serve warm!
