Description

This Cranberry Goat Cheese Flatbread is the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory flavors. Crispy flatbread is topped with creamy goat cheese, tart cranberries, and a drizzle of honey for an irresistible appetizer or light meal. Great for holiday gatherings or an easy weeknight treat!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pre-made flatbread (or naan)
  • 4 oz goat cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries (or fresh cranberries, halved)
  • 1/4 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp honey (plus more for drizzling)
  • 1/2 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the flatbread on a baking sheet.
  • Prepare the base: Brush the flatbread lightly with olive oil.
  • Add toppings: Spread softened goat cheese evenly over the flatbread. Sprinkle cranberries, nuts (if using), and fresh herbs on top.
  • Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and the cheese is slightly melted.
  • Finish and serve: Drizzle with honey and season with a pinch of salt and black pepper. Slice and enjoy warm!

Notes

  • Make it gluten-free by using a gluten-free flatbread or cauliflower crust.
  • For extra flavor, add caramelized onions or balsamic glaze.
  • Swap the nuts for sunflower seeds or omit them for a nut-free version.
  • Use fresh cranberries for a more tart flavor—just roast them slightly before adding.
