Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 package Hawaiian rolls (12-count)
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk (or half-and-half for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp butter (for cooking eggs)
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese (or American cheese)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted (for brushing)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (for butter topping)
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp poppy seeds (optional, for texture)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for a touch of sweetness)

Instructions

. Prepare the Rolls & Bacon

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally (keeping them connected), and place the bottom half in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Evenly layer cheese slices over the bottom half of the rolls.

2. Cook the Eggs

  1. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and scramble until just set (they’ll continue cooking in the oven).

3. Assemble the Sliders

  1. Spread the scrambled eggs over the cheese layer.
  2. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly on top.
  3. Place the top half of the rolls over the fillings.

4. Add the Buttery Topping

  1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, poppy seeds, and honey (if using).
  2. Brush this mixture evenly over the tops of the sliders.

5. Bake & Serve

  1. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes, then uncover and bake for 5 more minutes until golden brown.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make it Spicy: Add sliced jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce inside.
  • Add More Meat: Swap or mix bacon with sausage or ham.
  • Make Ahead: Assemble the night before, cover, and refrigerate. Bake in the morning!
  • Storage: Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days; reheat in the oven or air fryer.
