Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup lump crab meat (fresh, canned, or imitation)
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prepare:
    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make the Filling:
    • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, green onions, and parsley until well combined.
  3. Prepare the Crescent Dough:
    • Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
    • Place about 1 tablespoon of the crab filling in the center of each triangle.
  4. Seal & Shape:
    • Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
    • You can shape them into small puffs by folding the corners towards the center.
  5. Egg Wash & Bake:
    • Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
    • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Serve & Enjoy:
    • Garnish with extra parsley and serve warm.
    • Pair with a side of ranch dressing, tartar sauce, or hot sauce for dipping!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon juice to the filling.
  • Want a spicier kick? Add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • Make-ahead tip: Assemble the puffs and refrigerate them for up to 4 hours before baking.
