Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Sliders:

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls (or dinner rolls)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter (for eggs)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 6 sausage patties, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or American cheese slices)

For the Buttery Glaze:

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Eggs

  1. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and pour in the eggs.
  3. Scramble gently until just set, then remove from heat (they will finish cooking in the oven).

Step 2: Assemble the Sliders

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
  3. Layer the fillings:
    • Sprinkle half the cheese over the rolls.
    • Evenly spread the scrambled eggs, crumbled sausage, and crumbled bacon on top.
    • Add the rest of the cheese.
    • Place the top half of the rolls over everything.

Step 3: Add the Buttery Glaze

  1. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, maple syrup, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Brush the glaze over the tops of the rolls.

Step 4: Bake & Serve

  1. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes, until the tops are golden brown.
  3. Sprinkle with chopped parsley (optional) and serve warm!

Notes

  • Spicy Option: Add jalapeños or use spicy sausage.
  • Cheese Options: Swap cheddar for pepper jack or Swiss.
  • Storage: Keep leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best results.
  • Make Ahead: Assemble the sliders the night before, then bake in the morning!
