Description

These Coconut Magic Bars are rich, chewy, and packed with layers of flavor! With a buttery graham cracker crust, gooey condensed milk, chocolate chips, and plenty of shredded coconut, they’re the perfect sweet treat. Plus, they’re super easy to make—just layer everything in a pan and bake!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans, optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Mix the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl until combined. Press evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the graham cracker crust.
  • Sprinkle the chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, coconut, and nuts evenly over the top.
  • Press down gently with a spatula to ensure everything sticks together.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Cool completely before cutting into bars. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For a crispier crust, bake the graham cracker layer for 5 minutes before adding the toppings.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
  • You can swap out butterscotch chips for white chocolate or peanut butter chips!
