- 1/4 cup (60ml) coconut milk (full fat for creaminess)
- 1/4 cup (60ml) silver tequila
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) triple sec or Cointreau
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) simple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
For Garnish:
- Blood orange slices
- Lime wedges
- Toasted coconut flakes (optional)
- Coarse salt or sugar for rimming
Instructions
- Prepare the Glasses – Run a lime wedge around the rim of two glasses. Dip in salt, sugar, or toasted coconut flakes for extra flavor.
- Mix the Margarita – In a cocktail shaker, combine blood orange juice, coconut milk, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and simple syrup. Add a handful of ice and shake well for about 15 seconds.
- Serve – Fill prepared glasses with ice and strain the margarita mixture over the ice.
- Garnish & Enjoy – Top with a blood orange slice and a lime wedge. Optionally, sprinkle a few toasted coconut flakes on top.

- For a frozen version, blend all ingredients with ice until smooth.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more simple syrup or honey.
