Description

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • The included icing packets (from the cinnamon rolls)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven & Prep Pan:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a bundt pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Coat the Cinnamon Roll Pieces:
  • In a large zip-top bag or bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  • Add the cinnamon roll quarters and toss until well coated.
  • Assemble the Monkey Bread:
  • Layer the coated cinnamon roll pieces in the bundt pan.
  • If using, sprinkle in chopped nuts for extra crunch.
  • Make the Caramel Sauce:
  • In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt.
  • Pour the mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.
  • Bake:
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
  • Add the Icing & Serve:
  • Drizzle the reserved icing over the warm monkey bread.
