Description

These Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites are a fun and easy breakfast treat made from canned cinnamon rolls dipped in a classic French toast batter and pan-fried until golden. Perfect for weekend brunches or as a sweet snack, they’re crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with warm cinnamon flavor.

Ingredients

Units Scale

1 can (12.4 oz) refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing (8-count)

2 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Butter or oil, for cooking

Maple syrup or reserved icing, for serving

Instructions

Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Cut each roll into 4 equal pieces.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.

Dip each cinnamon roll piece into the egg mixture, making sure it’s fully coated.

Place the dipped pieces on the hot skillet. Cook for about 2–3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the skillet and place on a plate lined with paper towels.

Drizzle with reserved icing or serve with warm maple syrup.

Notes

For extra crispiness, cook in small batches and avoid overcrowding the pan.

You can add a sprinkle of powdered sugar before serving for a bakery-style touch.
