Description

Cinnamon butter is a simple, yet delicious spread perfect for adding a sweet, spiced flavor to toast, pancakes, waffles, or muffins. It’s creamy, sweet, and warmly spiced with cinnamon, making it a versatile topping for breakfast or snacks.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, powdered sugar, honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt (if using).
  • Using a hand mixer or a fork, beat the ingredients together until smooth and well combined.
  • Transfer the cinnamon butter to a small serving dish or airtight container.
  • Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 week. Let it soften slightly before serving if refrigerated.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less powdered sugar or honey to your taste.
  • This cinnamon butter also works well as a filling for cinnamon rolls or a topping for baked sweet potatoes.
