Description

A fun, sweet-and-salty snack coated in a buttery toffee mixture, cinnamon sugar, and white chocolate!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 6 cups Bugles
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 oz white chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Prep: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Make the Toffee: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil and let bubble for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in salt, baking soda, and vanilla extract.
  3. Coat the Bugles: Pour the toffee mixture over the Bugles in a large bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Bake: Spread the coated Bugles on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  5. Cinnamon Sugar: Mix the cinnamon and granulated sugar in a small bowl.
  6. Chocolate Drizzle: Let the Bugles cool slightly, then drizzle melted white chocolate over them and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar while the chocolate is still wet.
  7. Set & Serve: Let the Bugles set until the chocolate hardens, then break apart and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
  • Add chopped pecans for extra crunch!
  • Use dark or milk chocolate instead of white chocolate if preferred.
