Description

These adorable Christmas Oreo Ornaments are the perfect holiday treat! Made with chocolate-dipped Oreos and decorated with festive sprinkles, they’re easy to make and great for kids to help with.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Oreo cookies (any variety)
  • 8 oz white or milk chocolate (melting wafers or candy melts)
  • 12 mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups or Rolo candies
  • 12 mini M&Ms or candy pearls (for the “hook”)
  • Assorted sprinkles, edible glitter, or colored sugar
  • 12 lollipop sticks (optional, for easy dipping)

Instructions

  • Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  • Dip the Oreos: Use a fork or lollipop stick to dip each Oreo into the melted chocolate, coating completely. Tap off excess.
  • Decorate: Place dipped Oreos on parchment paper. While the chocolate is still wet, decorate with sprinkles and edible glitter.
  • Add the Ornament Top: Place a mini Reese’s or Rolo on top of each Oreo to resemble the ornament cap. Attach a mini M&M or candy pearl to the cap for the “hook.”
  • Set the Chocolate: Let the cookies sit at room temperature until set, or place in the fridge for about 10 minutes.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Once the chocolate hardens, your Oreo ornaments are ready to serve!

Notes

  • Try using different colored candy melts for a variety of ornament looks!
  • If using lollipop sticks, you can turn these into Oreo pops.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
