Ingredients
For the Brownies:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted

1 cup all-purpose flour

Instructions

Preheat Oven – Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

Mix Wet Ingredients – In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Add Dry Ingredients – Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combined (don’t overmix!). Fold in chocolate chips if using.

Bake – Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
