Description
These Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters are sweet, creamy, and coated in rich chocolate—like a frozen treat meets a healthy snack! Made with just a few simple ingredients, they’re perfect for meal prep, dessert, or a mid-day pick-me-up.
Ingredients
1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
1/2 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet, dark, or milk)
1 teaspoon coconut oil (for smoother melting)
Sea salt (optional, for topping)
Instructions
-
Mix Yogurt Base:
In a bowl, combine chopped strawberries, Greek yogurt, honey (if using), and vanilla. Stir to mix. -
Scoop Clusters:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the sheet to form clusters. Freeze for 1–2 hours, or until firm. -
Melt Chocolate:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. -
Dip or Coat Clusters:
Once frozen, dip each cluster into the melted chocolate or spoon chocolate over the top to coat. Return to the baking sheet. -
Freeze Again:
Freeze the coated clusters for another 30 minutes, or until chocolate is set. -
Serve or Store:
Enjoy right away or store in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
- Swap strawberries for blueberries, raspberries, or a mix.
- Use dairy-free yogurt and chocolate for a vegan version.
- Sprinkle sea salt or crushed nuts on top before the chocolate sets for extra flavor and crunch
