- 4 slices brioche or Italian bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/4 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella)
- 2 oz (56g) dark or milk chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
Assemble the Panini:
- Preheat a panini press or a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- On the unbuttered side of two slices, spread chocolate-hazelnut spread evenly.
- Sprinkle with chopped chocolate, hazelnuts, and cinnamon (if using).
- Top with the remaining bread slices (buttered side facing out).
Cook the Panini:
- Place the sandwiches in the panini press and cook for 3–4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- If using a skillet, cook for 2–3 minutes per side, pressing down with a spatula.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Finish & Serve:
- Dust with powdered sugar and slice in half. Serve warm and enjoy!

- Use French bread, sourdough, or whole wheat if preferred.
- Add sliced bananas or strawberries for extra flavor.
