- 8 hot dogs
- 8 slices American cheese (or 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese)
- 2 (15 oz) cans chili (with or without beans)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon chopped chives (optional)

Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Wrap the Hot Dogs:
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
- Place half a slice of cheese (or shredded cheese) on each triangle.
- Lay a hot dog at the wide end of each triangle and roll up toward the tip.
- Arrange wrapped hot dogs in the prepared baking dish.

- Pour chili around the crescent-wrapped hot dogs, keeping the tops uncovered.

- Mix melted butter with garlic powder and chives (if using).
- Brush over the tops of the crescent rolls.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with extra cheese or chives if desired.
