Description

This Chicken with Buttered Noodles is a classic comfort dish featuring tender, juicy chicken served over buttery, garlic-infused egg noodles. It’s an easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly and is sure to please the whole family!

Ingredients

Instructions

Cook the Chicken

  1. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp: 165°F).
  3. Add 1 tablespoon butter to the pan and baste the chicken for extra flavor.
  4. Remove the chicken from the pan, let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.

2. Cook the Noodles

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, melt 3 tablespoons butter over low heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Toss the cooked noodles into the butter, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Parmesan (if using).

3. Serve & Garnish

  1. Plate the buttered noodles and top with the sliced chicken.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve warm!

Notes

  • Want extra flavor? Add a squeeze of lemon juice over the chicken before serving.
  • Make it creamy by adding ¼ cup of heavy cream to the buttered noodles.
  • Use rotisserie chicken for an even quicker meal.
