Cook the Chicken

- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp: 165°F).
- Add 1 tablespoon butter to the pan and baste the chicken for extra flavor.
- Remove the chicken from the pan, let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice into strips.
2. Cook the Noodles
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt 3 tablespoons butter over low heat. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Toss the cooked noodles into the butter, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Parmesan (if using).
3. Serve & Garnish
- Plate the buttered noodles and top with the sliced chicken.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve warm!
Notes
- Want extra flavor? Add a squeeze of lemon juice over the chicken before serving.
- Make it creamy by adding ¼ cup of heavy cream to the buttered noodles.
- Use rotisserie chicken for an even quicker meal.
