- For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or 4 chicken thighs)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, for brightness)
- For the Buttered Noodles:
- 8 oz egg noodles (or any pasta)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook the Chicken
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp: 165°F).
- Add garlic and lemon juice, cooking for 1 more minute. Remove from heat and let rest.
- Step 2: Cook the Noodles
- Boil egg noodles in salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Toss in cooked noodles, Parmesan, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 3: Serve & Enjoy
- Slice the chicken and serve over the buttered noodles. Garnish with extra Parmesan and parsley.
