Description

This Cheesy Chicken Garlic Bread Sandwich features juicy chicken, melty cheese, and crispy garlic butter bread for a rich, indulgent sandwich. It’s quick to make and bursting with flavor!


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 4 slices thick-cut bread (French or sourdough works great!)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large chicken breast, cooked and shredded (or use rotisserie chicken)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

 

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  • Make the garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Spread evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  • Prepare the chicken: In a pan over medium heat, warm olive oil and add shredded chicken. Season with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Stir in mayonnaise for creaminess.
  • Assemble the sandwich: Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on a skillet over medium heat. Top each with shredded chicken, mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan. Place the remaining bread slices on top, buttered side up.
  • Grill: Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is fully melted.

 

  • Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm with marinara sauce or ranch for dipping.

Notes

Swap shredded chicken for grilled or crispy chicken tenders for extra crunch.

Use sourdough or ciabatta for an even heartier sandwich.

Try adding bacon or sliced tomatoes for more flavor!
