- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- Balsamic glaze (for drizzling, optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Toasted baguette slices or crackers (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a small baking dish.
- Mix the cheeses: In a medium bowl, combine mozzarella, cream cheese, parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Assemble the dip: Spread the cheese mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Add tomatoes: Toss cherry tomatoes with olive oil and a pinch of salt. Scatter them over the cheese mixture.
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish and serve: Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh basil. Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired. Serve warm with toasted bread or crackers.
Notes
- For extra creaminess, add ½ cup ricotta cheese to the mix.
- Want more flavor? Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a little heat.
- If you don’t have balsamic glaze, use a drizzle of balsamic vinegar for a tangy touch.
