Scale
- :
- 2 cups small pretzel twists
- 6 fun-sized candy bars (Snickers, Milky Way, or any variety you like)
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt (optional, for sprinkling on top)
Instructions
- :
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Arrange the pretzels in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Unwrap the candy bars and cut them into small pieces, about the size of the pretzels.
- Place one piece of candy bar on top of each pretzel.
- Bake for 3-4 minutes, just until the candy starts to soften, but not melt completely.
- Remove the pretzels from the oven and immediately press the candy into the pretzel with a spoon to ensure it sticks.
- Drizzle the caramel sauce over each pretzel bite, then let them cool for a few minutes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the pretzel bites and top with a sprinkle of sea salt, if desired.
- Let the pretzel bites cool completely before serving or storing.
Notes
- :
- You can swap the candy bars for your favorite chocolates like Reese’s, Kit-Kats, or peanut butter cups.
- For a fun twist, try using white chocolate or butterscotch chips instead of regular chocolate.
- If you prefer to make them ahead of time, store the bites in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
