Description

These Cajun Garlic Butter Steak Bites are juicy, tender, and packed with bold flavors. Quick to make in under 20 minutes, they’re seared to perfection and coated in a rich garlic butter sauce with a kick of Cajun spice. Perfect as an appetizer or a main dish served with rice, mashed potatoes, or veggies.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prep the steak: Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Sear the steak: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Make garlic butter: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic, cooking until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  • Coat steak bites: Return steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter until well coated.
  • Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness: 130°F (medium-rare), 140°F (medium).
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less Cajun seasoning.
  • Can be made with ribeye, tenderloin, or New York strip for extra tenderness.
