- 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat & Prep:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. Make the Buffalo Chicken Filling:
- 3. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- 3. Assemble the Crescent Ring:
- 4. Unroll crescent roll dough and arrange the triangles in a circle on the baking sheet, with the wide ends overlapping in the center and the points facing outward.
- 5. Spoon the buffalo chicken mixture evenly around the wide ends of the dough.
- 6. Fold the pointed ends over the filling and tuck them under the ring.
- 4. Bake & Serve:
- 7. Brush the top with melted butter.
- 8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 9. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve warm with extra ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
Notes
- For extra crunch, add crumbled bacon or diced celery to the filling.
- Use rotisserie chicken for an easy shortcut.
- Make it spicier by adding extra buffalo sauce or a pinch of cayenne.
