Instructions
For the Brownies:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla: Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
- Mix batter: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips (if using).
- Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely before frosting.
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.

- (Optional) Sprinkle with chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, or sprinkles for decoration.
- Slice into squares and enjoy!
