Description

This easy and crunchy broccoli slaw is a fresh, colorful side dish that comes together in minutes. It’s tossed in a creamy, tangy dressing and makes a great companion to grilled meats, sandwiches, or as a light lunch. Packed with veggies and flavor, it’s also a healthier alternative to traditional coleslaw.

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 oz) bag broccoli slaw mix

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds (optional, for crunch)

  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries or raisins (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  2. Add the broccoli slaw mix to the bowl and toss until the slaw is evenly coated in the dressing.

  3. Mix in almonds and dried cranberries if using.

  4. Chill in the fridge for at least 15 minutes before serving to let the flavors blend.

  5. Give it a final toss and serve cold.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, you can use Greek yogurt instead of mayo.

  • Add shredded carrots, chopped green onions, or sunflower seeds for more texture and flavor.

  • Great made ahead—just keep it refrigerated and give it a stir before serving.
