Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 2 tbsp avocado oil (or vegetable oil)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional, for extra glaze)
  • 1 tsp sriracha (optional, for extra spice)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)

  • Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Blackstone Griddle

    • Heat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
    • Lightly coat the surface with avocado oil or another high-heat oil.
  2. Season the Shrimp

    • In a bowl, toss the shrimp with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  3. Cook the Shrimp

    • Place the shrimp on the hot griddle and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until they turn pink and slightly charred.
  4. Add the Sauce

    • Reduce the heat to medium and pour the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, and sriracha over the shrimp.
    • Toss to coat and cook for 1-2 more minutes, allowing the sauce to caramelize.
  5. Garnish & Serve

    • Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
    • Serve hot with rice, noodles, or in lettuce wraps.

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen shrimp—just make sure frozen shrimp are fully thawed and patted dry before cooking.
  • For extra crunch, serve with crushed peanuts or crispy fried shallots.

  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less sriracha.
