Description

These Beefy Cheesy Fries Burritos are the ultimate comfort food—crispy French fries, seasoned ground beef, gooey melted cheese, and all your favorite toppings wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. Perfect for game day, late-night cravings, or anytime you want a bold and satisfying meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 packet taco seasoning

  • 3/4 cup water

  • 2 cups frozen French fries

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce (optional for extra gooeyness)

  • 4 large flour tortillas (burrito-size)

  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes

  • 1/4 cup diced red onion

  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • Optional toppings: jalapeños, salsa, hot sauce, avocado

Instructions

Cook the fries: Bake or air-fry the French fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy.

Cook the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.

Warm the tortillas: Heat tortillas in a dry pan or microwave until soft and pliable.

Assemble burritos: Lay each tortilla flat. In the center, layer fries, taco beef, shredded cheese, nacho cheese sauce (if using), tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and sour cream.

Wrap it up: Fold in the sides and roll up tightly to form burritos. Optional: toast in a skillet seam-side down for a crispy exterior.

Serve: Slice in half and enjoy warm with extra toppings or dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For an extra kick, use spicy fries or pepper jack cheese.

  • Want to meal prep? Wrap tightly in foil and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer.

  • Can be made vegetarian by swapping in black beans or plant-based crumbles.
