Description

These nachos are packed with all the flavors of a classic bacon cheeseburger—crispy chips, seasoned beef, melted cheese, smoky bacon, and a drizzle of BBQ sauce.

Ingredients

Units Scale
For the Nachos:
  • 1 (10 oz) bag tortilla chips
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or a mix of cheddar and Monterey Jack)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
For Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced pickles (optional, for a cheeseburger twist)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or ranch dressing (for drizzling)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional, for burger-style garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven – Set to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cook the Beef – In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until browned (5-6 minutes). Drain excess grease. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder. Mix in ½ cup BBQ sauce and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Assemble the Nachos – Spread half of the tortilla chips on the baking sheet. Layer with half of the beef, bacon, and cheese. Repeat with the remaining chips, beef, bacon, and cheese.
  • Bake – Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Garnish & Serve – Remove from oven and top with diced tomatoes, pickles, green onions, and sesame seeds. Drizzle with extra BBQ sauce and sour cream/ranch. Serve immediately!

Notes

  • Make It Spicy: Add jalapeños or drizzle with hot sauce.
  • Swap the Chips: Try waffle fries or tater tots instead of tortilla chips.
  • Add More Cheese: A drizzle of nacho cheese sauce makes these extra indulgent!
