- 4 cups cubed bread (brioche or French bread)
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Place bread cubes in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk together bananas, milk, cream, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
- Pour mixture over bread cubes and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Transfer to the prepared baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
