For the Chicken:
- 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or 4 small)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (for extra crunch)
- 2 tbsp olive oil (or cooking spray)
For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (for thickening)
For Garnish:
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions
Instructions
Preheat & Prep the Chicken:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces or cutlets.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Dip each piece of chicken into the beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
2. Bake the Chicken:
- Place the coated chicken pieces on the baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil or spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
3. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Stir in honey, soy sauce, and vinegar. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch and water, then add to the sauce, stirring until thickened.
4. Coat & Serve:
- Toss the baked chicken in the honey garlic sauce until well coated.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
- Serve over rice, noodles, or vegetables and enjoy!

- Air Fryer Option: Cook at 375°F for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Want extra crispy chicken? Broil for 2-3 minutes at the end.
