Description

Baked cauliflower is a delicious and healthy side dish that’s easy to make and full of flavor. Roasted until golden brown and tender, this cauliflower is seasoned with garlic, olive oil, and a touch of parmesan for a savory bite. Perfect for any meal as a low-carb, nutritious option!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional for extra flavor)

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with non-stick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
  3. Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cauliflower is golden brown and tender.
  5. If using, sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the cauliflower in the last 5 minutes of cooking for a cheesy, crispy finish.
  6. Once baked, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a squeeze of lemon juice over the cauliflower right before serving.
  • Feel free to add other seasonings, like thyme or rosemary, for a different flavor profile.

  • This dish is naturally gluten-free, low-carb, and vegan (if you skip the parmesan).
